Kristine Amdur has been committed to teaching holistic art classes since earning her degree and becoming certified in Art Education in 2004. She earned her Masters in Education Management  in 2008 and has been trained in International Baccalaureate teaching methods. Her teaching approach supports human ingenuity and an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Each lesson includes some art history and art criticism with art production. Art Education Resource, LLC was founded with the intention of bringing quality art education to private or small group instruction. 

 Art Education Resources promotes the proven testimony that Art is important to education because:

• Students' overall academic performance is improved.
• Students that are actively engaged in arts education are more likely to have higher test scores than those with little or no involvement.
• Skills needed by the 21^st century workforce are developed: critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication, and teamwork.
• People that are involved with art learn to be more tolerant, open, and willing to share.
• Expressing creativity while creating art helps build self-confidence.

Focused adult and after school programs are available after briefly determining with the instructor a student's artistic interests and level of experience.

A variety of art resources are available to encourage each student's strengths and interests. In addition to field trips and studio tours, private studio lessons will be referred upon request.

Art Education Resource focuses on building confidence, motivation, focus, and problem solving skills.  Friendly, warm, and enthusiastic teaching creates a safe and supportive atmosphere for creating art.
